Claire has been a vocal student of Debbie Cardy for over five years, and we cannot say enough about Debbie’s talent and gift for teaching and coaching singers. Debbie is patient, kind, dynamic, and an expert in her craft. This studio is top-notch. They bring in the best local musicians and directors to really give Claire a varied and rich musical education.
The contest was very well done, particularly since it all had to be executed virtually due to Covid.
The winners had the unique and exciting opportunity to record with the composer in a professional recording studio. My daughter has grown immensely as a musician and in confidence at Stage Door, and we look forward to many more years of music with Debbie and her team.

We are pleased to announce our Contest Winner for her vocal styling and interpretation of an amazing arrangement by Hal Wright of "O Holy Night w/ In The Bleak Mid-winter", Hannah Tramonte. Our "Arranger's Choice" Winner for her outstanding traditional performance of the song is Claire Holdren. Congratulations to these excellent performers.
Both the Contest Winner and Composer's Choice Winner will get to record their individual songs in a professional studio. The Contest Winner's song will be shared with our local radio stations as well.
