“IMPACT” VOCAL TEAM 2024  (Ages 11-18)   

 

Sundays - March 3 - May 19, 2024 (2:00-4:00 pm)

​Do you love to sing?

Do you want to improve your overall stage presence,

movement, vocal production & performance?

 

IMPACT will be a training ensemble in a “show choir” style.

 

​We will work on: strengthening vocal ability, agility and stamina, harmonization, blend, fine tune intonation and storytelling s while performing various styles of music from Broadway to Classic to Pop.  This group is a pre-professional program with training for those who are interested in taking their performance to a more advanced level.  

​

We are opening the auditions up to ages 11-18 this year and may consider having two teams, with one being more advanced, depending upon the number of people who audition. Our advanced group will hold a parent meeting in May, to determine if they will move forward to participate in an out-of-state competition/workshop as a team. 

​

1). An audition is required. Feb 25th (Moved from Feb 4th), 4:00-5:30 - Sign up for a spot:

2).  Please prepare a memorized 1-minute song selection of your choice. 

3).  You must provide your own accompaniment track (no acapella or singing along with existing voice or send a track link to: Debbie@stagedoorstudios.org

4). An auxilliary cable or Apple Adapter will be provided to play any tracks from

     your phone. 

5). Please dress comfortably as there will be a short dance/movement audition as

     well.

There are only 8 - 10 spots open.

 

T-shirts, costumes & props, sheet music and rehearsal tracks will be provided.
