The first week each student will get a monologue and we will work on the basics of developing their character and situation (who are they talking to, why are they saying this, etc.) and they will learn how to make acting choices based on that information. In the second week we will take a similar approach but with short, two person scenes. The goal is to give children skills that will help them with any future productions that they may be a part of.

During their week at camp, our friends learn lessons in paying attention and practicing, overcoming both their fears and their weaknesses. With a subtle moral about liking yourself and having confidence if you want to be loved by others, each toy realizes that it is good at something.
